I got a frantic call last night from a mother whos daughter was having her first birthday party today - and the cakes and frosting were made but not finished. SOooo this is how I spent my Friday night without kids -
Thankfully Miss Abilgail got her cakes well before needed and the party was saved. Happy First Birthday Miss Abilgail!

The Monster Book of Monsters Cake - 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 french vanilla with vanilla butter cream and whipped chocolate frosting and fondant accents.

I had a request for a cupcake pull apart cake (for a baby shower) in the shape of an owl and was given a copy of Disney Family Fun Magazine (www.disneyfun.com) as a reference on how she wanted the cake to look. I am utterly scared to deliver this cake today -even though it has supports running through out I didn't run a support from the top of the cake all the way to the bottom (hoping I don't end up regretting this)! Wish me luck and I hope the birthday girl enjoys it.
